The Clubhouse: Kindergarten - 2nd Grade
What is “the Clubhouse?”
The Clubhouse is a place just for the Kindergarten – 2nd graders of Prestoncrest! It’s a place where kids come to learn about the Bible, meet new friends in small groups, and participate in connecting activities.
When is it?
Every Sunday at 9:35.
Why attend the Clubhouse?
For Spiritual Growth: “And Jesus grew in wisdom and stature and in favor with God and man.” Luke 2:52 (NIV)
What is the Clubhouse environment like?
The time is divided into 2 major segments . . . large group time and small group time.
Small Group (9:35 – 9:45 & 10-10:30)
Children start class time in their small groups with a welcome activity. After large group time, they return to small group classes to learn how the lesson applies to their lives through games, applications and fun activities. Drop off and pick up is in the classrooms. All children are required to wear a security tag in the Clubhouse.
Large Group (9:45 - 10:00)
This is where the children hear a Bible story. We use costumes, props and characters from the story – anything that makes the Bible come to life. We also carve out time each week for kids to sing as loud as they want to tell God how much they love Him in meaningful worship.
